The Guitar Success program is a very thorough way to learn how to play guitar. Any self-guided program needs to present the material effectively so any student can absorb the information. For example, does the student learn visually? Then video courses and online lessons are helpful. What about an aural learner? Then you'll need to offer audio samples. Of course, a kinesthetic learner will be comfortable with the material simply by learning the feel of the guitar.
The Guitar Success program incorporates all this information into its package. To start off, there are 3 instructional books in the form of printable ebooks. Each book introduces the next level of learning in 12 or more lessons from beginner to advanced levels. These lessons cover basic techniques, music theory, different styles of music, and additional information to help the student progress efficiently.
MP3s and "audio play-alongs" are also included in the program. These audio tracks are divided into 3 sections to correspond with the different levels of the instructional books. A sample of the audio tracks showcases the variety of styles that are part of the material. The "play along" feature is also an effective teaching tool to reinforce the student's progress.
Video guitar lessons are another part of the Guitar Success program. Over 130 video lessons give the student a "virtual" guitar teacher. Instead of forgetting what the instructor said the week before, the guitar student can now just hit "replay" on the video lesson. For the visual learner, this will be one of the best features of the program.
In addition to the books, MP3s, and video lessons, there are several more features that are included into the package. A "mystery lesson" and audio track, access to guidance and support from a guitar teacher, and an audio guitar tuner are added in as a bonus. Also, any new updates and additions are included in the initial price.

Overall, the Guitar Success program contains a complete presentation of the material for any student to learn how to play guitar. I'm impressed with the quality of the materials and the instant access to many of the features.
The price of the program is very affordable, and well worth the money invested. My only suggestion is to add another package price for those students who aren't very comfortable with new technology.
Actual printed books, DVDs, and audio CDs would be a great way to reach a wider audience. Even though this may be more expensive, I believe the quality of the program would offset the increased purchase price.
